Forest Department prohibits exhibition of exotic animals in private aviaries and petting zoos across T.N.

The Department has sought clarification from the Environment Ministry as to what permits are valid for the display of exotic animals to the public; until then, forest officers have been directed to ensure that all aviaries and petting zoos in possession of these animals do not exhibit them to the public
